Training Onboarding Completion - Update

We’ve seen great progress in onboarding training completion over the past weeks, but there’s still a way to go before we hit our target. Netherlands is now at 70% a strong improvement, but short of the 90% goal. We have a lot of hubs on 60-70% so really not far from the target, with the extra effort we can make this target and ensure all staff are trained and ready to go!

👏 A big thank you to those hubs that have really put the effort in!
At the same time, we’ve been reaching out to hubs with lower scores to understand how we can support them better. But ultimately, we need everyone to pull together to reach our target.

👉 For hub teams, this means:

  • Make sure you’ve completed your training, even if you’ve been at Flink for a while.

  • For new joiners, it’s super important that training is done at onboarding. Please ensure this is happening in your hub without delay.

Why is Onboarding Completion Vital for Everyone?

  • Ensures Health & Safety: Equips all staff with crucial safety knowledge, reducing risks and preparing us for Safetember.

  • Boosts Process Understanding: Enables quicker grasp of systems and procedures, leading to greater efficiency and fewer errors.

  • Accelerates Performance: Helps staff achieve better results faster, contributing to individual and company success from day one.

  • Reduces Staff Turnover: Creates a positive, informed start, increasing job satisfaction and retaining our valuable talent.

To help everyone reach that 90% completion mark, remember:

  • Track Your Progress: The Looker dashboard is back! Hub managers can utilize the Looker dashboard to monitor completion rates of onboarding courses & the safety refresher and use it to provide targeted support.

  • Within the dashboard overview you can filter for completion by hub and position

  • On the employee level you can search for your hub staff to see who to follow up with

  • Access it here 👉🏽 Looker dashboard

  • Visual Guides: We have posters available that outline exactly how the Onboarding should look like:

    • OA onboarding poster: here

    • Rider onboarding poster: here

  • Accessibility: All training courses are readily available in the Workforce App Training section.

Let's work together to ensure everyone benefits from comprehensive onboarding. Our collective safety, efficiency, and success depend on it!

Key updates you can't miss

⚠️ Ongoing System Issues – Update

Since Monday morning, we’ve been experiencing a service incident affecting multiple systems. Here’s what we’ve observed so far:

Current Issues:

  • Order statuses not displaying correctly on the dashboard

  • Orders are getting stuck in “packing” status more often

  • Dashboard showing 2 OAs picking the same order

  • Duplicate orders are being placed by single customers

  • Stock level updates are delayed on the consumer app

HubOne Order Notifications:

  • The issue where Zebras do not ring for new orders, even when the “+1 picker needed” indicator appears, is happening more frequently.

Temporary Workaround:
If your Zebra stops ringing for new orders:

  1. Clear Google Chrome storage via device settings (note: clearing cache alone won’t fix this).

  2. If the issue continues, manually scan orders from the dashboard.

Our tech team is actively working on fixes for all issues. We’ll keep you updated as soon as everything is resolved.

📲 Update to the WF App

As part of preparations for an upcoming new process, the WF App has been updated.

🔄 What’s changed:

  • Where it used to say “Delivery not possible”, it will now display “Cancel order.”

⚠️ Important:

For now, tapping “Cancel order” does NOT actually cancel the order. Please continue following the normal process as usual.

We’ll share more details once the full process is live. Thanks for staying sharp! 🚀
