Key updates you can't miss

Re-Delivery Workflow

With the introduction of the Help Center where customers can request item refunds, it’s crucial to always use the re-delivery check workflow in your hub’s Customer Care Slack channel for every re-delivery, including quick corrections that Riders handle during their trips. This way we prevent situations where customers receive both a re-delivery and a refund.

Important to keep in mind:

  • Only entire bags or orders that were forgotten or delivered to the wrong customer may be re-delivered.

  • Single items should not be re-delivered, as re-deliveries negatively impact your hubs’ and your employee’s UTRs.

New automatic messages - starting tomorrow

We will now be sending automatic prompts to request updates on redelivery in two cases:

  1. To follow up on phone number requests for re-deliveries

  2. When we suspect a redelivery may have taken place, based on rider and hub activity

Rider Onboarding Completion

We are still very low on Onboarding Training Completion, especially for new riders.

It is very important that every rider who works with us has completed the mandatory EduMe onboarding, as it contains essential information on work safety, alcohol delivery, and the delivery process.

Access to the Training:

  • Employees can access the training via the WF App - Training Section.

  • Every training is also sent via email from [email protected]

  • Please note, in some cases, training might not be visible in the app, these issues should be fixed soon. Until then, riders should search for the email to access the training.

📊 Please take a look at the Completion Dashboard to push incomplete employees.

ℹ️ Here you find all the updated information regarding the process.

🖨️ Make sure you have this poster printed in the hub, and that every SL/OA+ is aware of the process.

Weekly battery inventory now on Saturdays

To improve the accuracy and timeliness of our weekly comparison reporting, we are updating the schedule for battery inventory submissions.

From this week onwards, all hubs are required to submit their battery inventory form on Saturdays instead of Mondays which includes reporting of broken and faulty batteries as well.

(Even though the form was filled in on this Monday 31.03.25, all hubs are still required to fill it on this Saturday 05.04.25 as well)

This change ensures that all responses are included in the weekly comparison report that is sent out every Monday.
A weekly reminder will be sent out every Saturday in the nl_hub-equipment-updates channel.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us streamline this process and maintain up-to-date records.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Navdeep Sandhu.

☀️Summer Readiness

We have created an overview with all topics related to summer readiness for the hubs. These include Property and equipment topics. You can see the progress of topics for each hub in this sheet.

To gather the last data for equipment topics, we ask you to fill in this quick form before the 11th of April.

We are working hard behind the scenes to make sure that the temperatures inside all hubs remain stable during the summer heat.

Feel free to reach out to Marina Tirado Martín for any questions regarding property topics or Navdeep Sandhu for equipment topics.

Enjoy the summer

Supply Chain Updates

Each week, we create a fresh Fruit & Vegetable leaflet with key updates on supply and quality of fruit and vegetables, because staying informed about produce matters! 🥕🍊

You'll find it in our weekly newsletter, keeping you up to date on any changes in availability or quality or other matters. We also share insights from other hubs, ensuring you have a well-rounded view of the latest issues or insights.

Have any feedback or questions? We'd love to hear from you!

This week, our update covers mandarins, tomatoes, paprika, and garlic—see the attachment for details.

Unofficial photo challenge!

Now for something a little fun: I visited a few hubs this week and took the chance to grab some more ‘arty’ photos from hubs. This made me miss the photo competition you guys all sent amazing entries for, so I have an idea. Let's do an unofficial photo competition each week!
Each week I will pick a theme and I would like to see your best entries, they can be artsy, funny, or whatever you like. The top ones will be featured in the newsletter and printed and put up in HQ!

Please send your photos via Slack to David Hunt or via email

This week's theme is light and shadow (and by accident hub flaps!) here's some inspiration to get you going!

🤓Don’t forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!

Read more about the different Hub Sizes here!

Why do we do shelf changes?

Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.

For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.

This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.

If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
