Key updates you can't miss____________________________________
OA+ retroactive payments
To receive your OA+ supplement for OA+ shifts, you must complete both your BHV and Safety Assessment training. Only once these are done will your OA+ supplement appear on your payslip. Retroactive payments for OA+ shifts worked, but without both training’s being fulfilled at that time, cannot be paid retroactively.
In the past month, it has happened that new OA+ers were not onboarded via the correct way, which led to incomplete training records. As a result, some of you may have missed your OA+ supplement for past shifts. For all people this applies to, you’ll see "Retro Acc. Prev. Period" on your January 17 payslip — this reflects the retroactive payment for those affected (see image below).

Updated Instructions Labels Bakery products
As of this week, we will switch to 3 types of labeling for bakery items:
Uiterste verkoopdatum = Latest selling date
Ten minste houdbaar tot = Best before date
Te gebruiken tot einde = Best before end date
We also added a new type of bread to the assortment which is called “Extra lang lekker”. This is bread/buns we can sell more than 1 day. Before it was only 1 day. To make sure this is clear, we added a frame on the name of the bread and it has a “THT” instead of “verkoopdatum”.
We have made clear instructions which you can find here. Please make sure you print it out and hang it in your hub and instruct all hub employees. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

Weekly insights____________________________________
Find this week's leaflet on the fruit and vegetable quality: link
This week’s update highlights key challenges in Fruit & Vegetables (Week 4): Cold temperatures in Morocco are slowing Tomato ripening, leading us to sell slightly yellow but perfectly edible Tomatoes; Snack Carrots and IJsbergsla continue to show quality issues, requiring stricter inspections and prompt Hub Alert Tickets for any defects; and suppliers report limited availability of Snack Cucumbers and Raspberries. Let’s stay proactive with inspections and flag any issues to keep things running smoothly!

🚨 HUB ALERT TICKETS – DELIVERY ISSUES 🚨
A big shoutout to everyone who helped tackle the recent Melkan Cheese issues! But we’re not done yet, we’re still facing some bumps in the road with product quality. Let’s keep the momentum going by staying on top of things: flag any problems through Hub Alert Tickets, double-check deliveries, and let’s keep the feedback flowing to our suppliers. Together, we’re making this operation stronger, faster, and more efficient.
Shelf changes____________________________________
Shelf changes for Hub 3.0
At 16:00 today, we will post the shelf changes here
Shelf changes for Hub 3.1
At 16:00 today, we will post the shelf changes here
The list will be published at 16:00, so please check around that time.
The changes will go live tonight between 1am and 7am, so please move the products to their new locations tonight after closure/tomorrow morning.
🤓Don’t forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!
Having trouble understanding hub sizes?
Read all about it here.
Why do we do shelf changes?
Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.
For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.
This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.
If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
