Quality checks Melkan Cheese

We are receiving multiple complaints from customers and hubs about white spots on the Melkan cheeses. These are maturation crystals and are not harmful to health, but they are not visually appealing, and we do not want to sell them to our customers.

The supplier is conducting extra checks, but if cheese is delivered with this type of white spots, please book it out as 'delivery damaged' and create a hub alert ticket, including a picture of the label on the back. This way, we can claim it with our supplier.

Once again, your input is very valuable to us, so please report these cases! Thank you for your cooperation.

🌟 WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK! 🌟

We’re always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify challenges and enhance the Hub Alert process. To achieve this, we’d love to hear your input!

Here’s how you can help:

  • Share your thoughts on how we can improve the usage and support of Hub Alerts.

  • Highlight best practices from your hub, especially if you’re one of our top-performing teams.

  • Inspire others by sharing tips to improve ticket submissions and resolve delivery issues more efficiently.

Please take a few minutes to complete our Survey. The more feedback, the better! Don’t forget to share it with your team so we can gather as much input as possible.

🚨 HUB ALERT TICKETS – DELIVERY ISSUES 🚨

Your attention to detail and proactive actions have a direct impact on our success. Here’s a fantastic example:

Last week, Hub utr_zuid raised Hub Alert Tickets for BBD issues with cut fruits and vegetables. Their diligence helped us identify a pattern affecting 5 SKUs. As a result, we successfully claimed the entire batch, recovering approximately €1,000 for the company!

This highlights how flagging delivery-related issues can help us identify inefficiencies, recover costs, and protect our resources.

Let’s keep up the great work! If you encounter any delivery-related concerns, please don’t hesitate to prepare a Hub Alert Ticket. Together, we can make the company flourish!

Thank you for your dedication and for helping us improve every day!

Shelf changes for Hub 3.1

At 16:00 today, we will post the shelf changes here

The list will be published at 16:00, so please check around that time.

The changes will go live tonight between 1am and 7am, so please move the products to their new locations tonight after closure/tomorrow morning.

🤓Don’t forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!

Having trouble understanding hub sizes?

Read all about it here.

Why do we do shelf changes?

Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.

For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.

This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.

If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
