🚨Helmet Hero competition continues

One in four grocery delivery cyclists have a serious accident in the Netherlands.

To raise awareness on the importance of wearing a helmet, we created a fun competition where your hub can win some prizes.

Here’s how it works:

Encourage your Riders to display their best helmet pose while on the job and take a creative photo while actively engaging in deliveries.

Cash prizes to be won for your hub:

  • First prize: 300 euro

  • Second prize: 250 euro

  • Third prize: 200 euro

Here are some of the entry photos of last week:

The competition entries close on 30 June 2024! Sign up via this link.

🚨New BHV dates out now

We added 2 more dates for the BHV training in July. This will be the last available training before the summer holiday.

We urge everyone who still has to do the first training, along with those whose certification is expiring before September, to sign up for one of these training sessions.

All nominated OA+ employees must complete it before 1 July 2024.
All BHV training certificates are valid for 1 year.

🚨Fridge management

During the warmer months, your fridges are working harder to cool all the products. As such, many hubs have issues with water leaking from the buckets of the fridges. This can lead to injuries, as employees can slip and fall. Additionally, your fridge may suffer from cooling issues.

Take the following steps to avoid these issues:

  • Order a water vacuum cleaner on Coupa.

  • Keep the fridge doors closed at all times - create a MCFT ticket if your doors are broken.

  • In the hubs where the fridges are standing against a wall and are difficult to reach, take off the front grids of your fridges for easy access to the buckets.

  • Create a daily schedule to empty the buckets.

Ensure that your fridges have the correct temperature settings:

  • Fresh fridges - Set and Variable temperature on 3 degrees

  • Meat fridges - Set and Variable temperature on 2 degrees

  • Drinks fridges - Set and Variable temperature on 7 degrees

🚨Shelf changes for hub 3.0 and hub 2.0

In today's shelf changes, there are some products currently placed on shelf 999X that will be assigned to a new shelf.

It may also happen that some products appear as new listings, but you might already have them in stock on shelf 999x. Please check there. In case you don’t find them, it means you haven’t received them yet.

Shelf changes for Hub 3.0 and Hub 2.0:

🚨 June delistings

Find here the list of products that have to be delisted.

The shelf changes and June listings will be uploaded to the respective folder in the late afternoon, so check around that time.

🚨Hub 3.0: Bananas, cat litter and charcoal assigned new shelves

These products have already moved out from their shelves. For this reason, we will assign them a new location as we did for paper products last week:

  • Here are the products with their new shelves

  • Here you can find the new barcodes you need to print and stick on the products’ new locations.
