💡New Bundle threshold

We are happy to announce that the bundle issue should be improved for Fruit & Vegetables. Please find the details of the updated bundle threshold below.

What’s changed?

  • When we don’t have enough products to form a bundle, the bundle will disappear from the app for our customers.

  • Additionally, the product’s SKU will show the single units available for that product.

  • Example: When we reach 5 apples in stock, the 6 pack will disappear from the app (obviously, as we don't have 6 units) AND the piece SKU will show up with 5 apples available.

Delistings & Shelf Changes

🚨Scanning 999X products

What’s changed?

Due to a new way of assigning products system-wise, some inbound products might display shelf 999X or N/A, even though the product has been assigned a shelf on Relex.

Process

In these cases it can take the system up to 30 minutes to create the shelf in the HubOne app for your hub. So, kindly inbound the items on 999X and make sure to check them after 30 minutes or throughout the day.

🚨Shelf Changes

Hub 3.0

During the night 52 shelf changes will take place, the reason for a bigger shelf change round is because we are going to move many products that are active but sitting on 999x with no previously assigned shelf.

In this way, everything will be properly allocated. You can find here the folder with all the shelf changes for Hub 3.0.

Find here the PDF list of the aforementioned SKUs moving from 999X to a new shelf.

Hub 2.0

For this shelf change round there is only this SKU 109950093 moving from 999X to a new shelf. You can find all the nightly shelf changes for Hub 2.0 here.

All the shelf changes will be uploaded in the late afternoon, feel free to check them around that time, thank you for your collaboration.

🚨Battery cabinet storage update

Due to increased safety awareness around lithium batteries, there have been a couple of important updates in how we are allowed to store our batteries.

  • Batteries and chargers may nor be stored on the same shelf - therefore tie your chargers to the bottom of the shelves in your cabinet going forward - use cable ties for this.

  • With this setup you can easily store 10 batteries on one shelf

  • Your cabinet should be labelled correctly (broken batteries, charging batteries and full batteries)

  • Ensure that your broken batteries are kept on a separate shelf - never place or charge other batteries on the broken battery shelf.

Process update can be found on Zendesk.

  • Below is an example of what your cabinet should look like.

🚨Audit - important printouts

To ensure that your team can easily answer the questions during an audit and for visibility with outside inspection, please make sure that the below documents are printed and visibly place inside your hub.

ℹ️ See more hub print-outs on Zendesk

🙋‍♀️ For any questions please contact Mariette Kraak

💡 Saval / Fire equipment reporting update

Please use the S&T Typeform going forward to make your request for Saval our fire safety partner.

These issues include;

  • EHBO kit / first aid kit needs refilling (missing units)

  • Fire equipment missing / not placed correctly / sign missing

  • Emergency lights missing / sign missing

🙋‍♀️ For any questions please contact Mariette Kraak

💡Ready for summer?

It has been a long time since the flaps were installed in most of the hubs. From the property management team we want to make sure that all the hubs are ready for the summer.

We therefore ask you to fill in this form and let us know what is the current state of the curtain flaps in your hub. In the coming months we will use that information to ensure that the flaps are in an optimal state. Make sure to fill in the form before Friday 5th of April.

💡Shift Assignment logic updated

We're updating the logic behind automatic shift assignment to prioritising based on the overall cost of delivering an order. This will both incentivise rider excellency, since the best riders will be prioritised, as well as deliver cost efficiency improvements for Flink.

What’s changed?

New shift assignment priority ranking:

  1. Availability provided

  2. Lowest Cost per order delivered (CPO)

    1. CPO = CPH / UTR

    2. CPO: cost per order

    3. CPH: cost per hour of work

    4. UTR: number of orders delivered per hour worked

Every rider has a CPO score and auto assign will prioritise shift assignment based on lowest cost per order.

CPO will be calculated as a 4 weeks average, unless the rider has worked less than 20 hours, in which case we'll assume their UTR to be the same as hub average.

Reasoning and logic behind change:

  • We assign shifts based on cost per order, which aligns company financial goals whilst keeping rider performance as a major driver of shift assignment

  • Your performance in the last 4 weeks is a major driver of cost per order

    • Therefore you have control over whether you will get shifts

  • Giving more availability always helps

    • Make use of the max hour feature to get exactly number of hours you want while giving us flexibility for staffing

  • We are a seasonal business, where in spring and summer we run into oversupply of riders
