Instructions
Fill a container or pot with finely crushed ice, add clean tap water and stir well.
Remove the thermometer from its case and slade the pin in the water.
Immerse the thermometer pin into the ice for a minimum of 3-5 centimeters for 30 seconds. The pin should not touch the sides/bottom.
If the temperature reading is +/- 1 degrees celsius, proceed to step 5.
Fill another container or pot with boiling water from a freshly boiled kettle.
Immerse the thermometer pin in the boiling water a minimum of 3-5 centimeters for 30 seconds. The pin should not touch the sides/bottom.
If the temperature reading is +99/101 degrees celsius, you have correctly calibrated the thermometer.
Please write on a sticker on the back of the thermometer the date and time of the latest calibration.

Why is this process important?
Whenever the hub wants to proceed with the temperature process, it can only be executed if the thermometer in the hub was calibrated no longer than 365 days ago.
