The Inbound Checker (IC) helps you identify deviations between inbounded products and products delivered, so your hub can have accurate inventory levels.
This guide provides you with instructions for the use of the Inbound Checker, the procedure for deviations, and how to locate your hub's Inbound Checker.
It's important that Ops Associate Plus, Shift Leads, and Hub Managers learn to use the Inbound Checker to ensure that 100% of all products are inbounded or outbounded.
General process
When you receive a delivery, you must inbound all the good products and outbound all the damaged/expired ones, so 100% of all products on the rollies are registered in the system.
Important: You must outbound newly delivered products that are damaged or expired so they won’t show up in the Inbound Checker. In order to be able to outbound them, you must inbound them first.
One hour later, control the deviations in the Inbound Checker - meaning products/SKUs that were partially inbound or not at all. The Inbound Checker will show you the amount of expected products, expected inbounds, and actual inbounds performed.
ℹ️ Important:
You must check IC 1 hour after the inbound. If checked beforehand, you'll see a long list of products that include inbounds with zero quantities and non-inbounded SKUs laying in the rollcontainer.
ℹ️ Important:
As the bakery is delivered separately, you can already check for deviations 30 minutes after the last Bakery item is inbounded. You’ll check all the other SKUs that need to be checked together.
If you're done inbounding and still see a large volume of lines, it means a container wasn't delivered by Lekkerland. This is out of the hubs’ responsibility, and it will be reactively fixed by the Supply Chain team.
If you find deviations in the Inbound Checker
If you notice a deviation in a specific product:
Check if you inbounded all the products and haven't left anything behind. Remember, you can only get a clear view in the IC if you've inbounded 100% of all delivery SKUs and if the IC was updated after your last inbound.
Check the stock balance in the Hub Portal and the expected stock level. Next, recount the products on the shelf and the backstock.
If the stock balance in the Hub Portal is lower than your actual stock: inbound the SKUs (see the process below). The SKUs will disappear from the IC with the next update.
If the stock balance in the Hub Portal is higher than your actual stock: correct it with the Zebra (see process below) and, depending on the issue, select Inbound error or Overdelivery in the IC as the reason.
If the stock balance on the Hub Portal is the same as your actual stock level, but you still have a gap in the Inbound Checker, no action is required.

ℹ️ Important:
If your recount confirms that the physical inventory matches the one in HubOne, write it in the Slack Channel #nl_all_hub_staff, so we can take the necessary course of action.
Inbounding SKUs if the stock balance is lower than the actual stock
If you do a recount and find the missing products, inbound them immediately:
Go to HubOne > Inbound > Select a delivery > Not part of a delivery.
Scan a unit of the product with deviations.
Enter the new total.
Repeat this for other products with deviations.
Select Verify list.
Select Start dropping.
Select the hand icon and then on Finish dropping.
This process ensures that all products are correctly reflected in the Inbound Checker.
