[ACTION] Brouwerij ā€˜t IJ - Fietsbel give away

Please inbound the Brouwerij ’t IJ Fietsbel (SKU 106000084) if you’ve received it. If not, your hub might not get them so that’s not an issue, just inbound if you do have them.

NOTE: Customers may receive a Fietsbel for free if they put this in their order and if they buy 4 (!) Brouwerij ’t IJ bottles. It is possible for the customer to add the Fietsbel without buying 4 bottles so please check the order before putting the Fietsbel in.

For questions please contact Linde Vrijhof

Hub Ops / New Processes

[INFO] UTR Definition

With the increase of cross-staffing between Rider and Ops Associates, the definitions of those have also been updated:

  • Ops Associate Operational UTR: # Orders (incl. Click & Collect and External Orders) / (# Punched Ops Associate Hours + # Rider Hub One Tasks Hours).

  • Rider Operational UTR: # Orders (excl. Click & Collect and External Orders) / (# Punched Rider Hours (incl. Onboarding) - # Rider Hub One Tasks Hours)

[INFO] New feature in HubOne: scan & tap picking - Live Wed 09 Aug

With the new ā€˜scan & tap picking’ feature in HubOne, you no longer need to scan the same SKU multiple times during picking. After scanning the SKU once, if there is more of that same SKU, HubOne will ask you to tap to confirm the amount ordered. This will help improve picking time.

[ACTION] Fix any damaged S-containers

We are asking hubs to remind staff to use small containers. By using S-containers we maximize space on the bike and allow for stacking which means increased utilization rate.

Due to limited stock of new S-containers, focus should first be on repairing the current (broken) ones!

Please check S-containers and order the parts needed to repair via the links below:

[INFO] Refresher on Average waiting for picker time šŸ›’ā±ļø

As one of our main KPIs this month is improving the waiting for picker time, we’d like to refresh your memory.

What is the ā€˜AVG Waiting for Picker Time’:

It is the average time needed to accept an order on the Zebra that is ā€œReady to pickā€.

  • The ā€˜waiting for picker’ clock starts counting when a zebra starts ringing (ā€˜Ready to pick’ ).

  • The waiting for picker clock stops counting once the order is accepted by an ops associate (ā€˜Picking’).

  • 🚨 Orders can only be stacked once the ops associate confirms picking is done (ā€˜Ready to deliver’).

What influences ā€˜AVG Waiting for Picker Timeā€:

  • Ops Associates No-Shows

  • No focus on Ready to pick

  • Insufficient Ops Associates planned

  • Many orders in Ready to Pick

By prioritizing picking, your hub can:

  1. Increase stacking (orders only get stacked when picked)

  2. Reduce avg. delivery time

  3. Increase utilization rate (due to more stacking & less rides)

[INFO] Bonus schemes & Incentives

  • Please find the Power Shifts Campaign here.

[ACTION] Sick Leave Requests

  • As of 01-08-2023, Sick Leave requests will be picked up by the Sick Leave Script in Quinyx, which will provide the correct logging of the request (Sick Day/Wait Day). The output of this Bot will be processed by the Rider Support Team the next day, to ensure the correct shift type is displayed in Quinyx.

  • For this to be successful, we need you to not process any sick leave requests in Quinyx that are put in. Please inform your Shift Leads about this as well, and instruct them to just take the call of the employee and not touch the request in Quinyx.

  • Riders have to put in a sick leave request for the entire day and call the hub. It is important to have them put in a request for the entire day.

  • If an employee falls ill during a shift, please have this processed manually by yourself or your Shift lead.

[ACTION] Quinyx Time Trackers

  • As of 07-08-2023 all holiday time trackers for all agreements have been corrected, displaying a distinction between statutory and non-statutory holiday balance.

  • Note that from now on employees are unable to take more holiday hours than they have accrued, read the one pager below for more details.

  • To ensure that the trackers keep being accurate please read the One Pager below on how to properly log Holidays.
