Your salary consists of your working hours (Quinyx), bonuses, tips (WorkForce App), and absences (sickness and vacations in Quinyx) collected during the month, from the 1st day until the last day of each month. It is therefore important to remember that all shifts need to have accurate punches by the last working day of the month to be certified for payment.
For example, let’s say you worked the entire month of July 2022. The beginning of the working month starts on July 1st and ends on July 31st. This means you would then receive your payment for July by August 6th.
Below is an example payslip/payment breakdown of a Flinker:
1. The Flinker worked 63.63 hours (excludes mandatory breaks) in May, and their hourly wage is 12€/hour. So they received (63.63 x 12€ = 763.56€).
2. They also received 9.99 hours of sick pay for which they received 119.88€.
3. Their total Brutto salary was 883.44€ (763.56€+119.88€).
4. Their social contribution/tax deductions amounted to 82.16€ (Your tax deductions depend on the employment type you have and your tax class you can learn more here. To learn more please contact the Workforce Support Team)
5. They received a "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) payment of 7.20 (BYOD is paid only to riders).
6. They would also receive a separate payment of 113€ for their Tips.
So, after the social contribution deduction and adding up their BYOD payment, the netto payment they received in their Bank was 808.48€ and 113€ of Tips as a separate payment.
Note: Not applicable in this example, but for both Rider and Ops Associates there is a 25% increase in pay on Saturdays (10pm-closing) and an additional bonus for worked hours on Sundays (only in special situations).
