Alcohol deliveries
As we’ve seen compliance on ID checks during alcohol deliveries drop over the past period, this will be a big focus again. Mystery shopper frequency is being increased, the guidelines have been updated and new incentives and fines have been introduced.
Find here once more the alcohol wiki page with all the info
Here you have the ‘geborgde werkwijze’ which should be known to everyone and accessible to everyone at all times (incl NVWA when they request it from you)
Attached here is the new poster regarding alcohol deliveries, please print this and hang in your hub.
There is also an updated NIX18 Edume training course live!

Since last week, riders now get an error (voice) message in case the call to the customer fails through the app. Riders will be informed immediately about the reason why the call failed:
Rider phone number not found: “The call failed because we couldn’t find your phone number in our database. Please update it in your Workforce App profile."
No active trip: “The call failed because you don't have an active trip right now”
Invalid customer phone number: “The customer phone number is invalid.”

Key updates you can't miss____________________________________
E-Commerce CLA Renewal needs your voice
On May 1st, 2025, our current e-commerce collective agreement expires. For that reason, talks are now taking place between Flink, other companies in the e-commerce market, and Union De Unie, among others.
You will soon receive a message from the union De Unie about the e-commerce collective agreement. The Union will negotiate on behalf of employees for more pay, holidays, personal development, and much more. All these agreements will then be laid down in a collective agreement: a collective bargaining agreement.
De Unie is one of the largest trade unions in the Netherlands. As a basis for the collective labour agreement, De Unie wants to launch a survey on employment conditions. You will receive an invitation to this from De Unie. A questionnaire will be sent out about what is important to you in the next collective agreement. The questionnaire will be sent out on February 10, 2025 and will be sent out via the company Innervoice. We would like to ask you to participate in the survey so that a good collective agreement can be drafted.
After the end of the survey, De Unie and Flink will sit down to agree on a collective agreement for our employees based on the results of the survey. The provisional CBA will then be presented again to the employees so that it can be voted on whether you agree with it.
Every opinion counts because this is of course your collective labour agreement!

Adjusted Toogoodtogo timings
As of the 5th of February (tomorrow), we want to implement a couple of changes to improve the sell-out ratio of toogoodtogo. Keep in mind these restrictions on quantities will be fixed for everyone after those times, so crucial that you update the quantities in time.
Bread box:
Sales slot: from 09:00 till 12:00. This should help improve sales as the bread boxes are typically bought in the morning.
Change quantities to be offered: the evening before until 23:59
Surprise box:
Sales slot: stays from 13:00 till 19:00.
Change quantities to be offered: the day itself at 11:00. This allows customers enough time to buy boxes & have time to pick them up.

Elis Mats
As of last week, all hubs should have received the Elis dry-mats. These should help keep water out from bikes/shoes coming into the hubs. The mats should stay at the busiest entrance, they will be swapped by Elis every 4 weeks.

Weekly insights____________________________________
Find this week's leaflet on the fruit and vegetable quality: link
This week, we’ve noticed some ongoing challenges with our fresh produce. Many of the Apple Gala (111950981) and Apple Pink Lady (113551571) batches have been below our quality standards, so let’s make sure we’re keeping a close eye on inspections and reporting any issues with Hub Alert Tickets. We’re also seeing quality issues with Lemons (111900925), so extra attention during incoming batch checks is important. On top of that, Raspberries (13003048) are in short supply due to supplier issues. Let’s stay on top of things to keep quality high for our customers!

Please find here the February delistings
The list will be published at 16:00, so please check around that time.
The changes will go live tonight between 01:00 and 07:00, so please move the products to their new locations tonight after closure/tomorrow morning.
🤓Don’t forget the back stock! When moving products to their new shelf, always remember to check and reposition any backstock on the top shelves as well!
Read more about the different Hub Sizes here!
Why do we do shelf changes?
Shelf changes are primarily made to optimize product placement, such as moving items from an S to an XS shelf. This allows the shelves to be listed in more hubs than they currently are, expanding the assortment’s size across all hubs rather than concentrating it in only the larger L or XL hubs.
For example, by consolidating products on an S shelf, we can free up space on a relatively empty M shelf and streamline product placement from top to bottom.
This process will continue in the near future as we work to broaden our assortment. Expanding our assortment ultimately increases the potential basket size for customers.
If you notice products that don’t fit the shelves when following the facings, flag them via the “Facings feedback” option in Hub Alert.
