Download the Flink cleaning schedules on the hub’s computer

To ensure that the hubs have an overview of the cleaning tasks, it is essential to keep the Flink Cleaning schedule on the hub’s computer. Here, you can review the tasks and assign names to completed work. This will also be checked during the audit rounds.

Key updates you can't miss

Empty stock checks for 999X

Last week, some of you experienced empty fresh and BBD checks for shelf 999X that couldn’t be completed. This issue occurs when products that weren’t assigned to the hub or haven’t been at the hub in a long time still appear during the checks.

The team is aware of this issue and is looking into it. For the time being, this might affect the check completion’s rate, but we are working towards a solution 💪

Bananas and BIO bananas storage

Bananas are the most sold item within Flink. To ensure that we are giving our bananas a longer shelf life, it’s essential that we store them correctly. On top of that, BIO bananas have a special set of rules on storage.

Ensure that you store your bananas as follows:

  • BIO bananas in the GREEN crate - with a clear BIO banana label on them.

  • Premium bananas in the BLACK crate - with a clear PREMIUM banana label on them.

  • Ensure that all plastic has been removed from the bananas

  • Ensure that you store your bananas using FIFO.

  • BIO bananas must not be stored in a shelf with other products or close to the regular bananas. This is especially important to ensure that no cross contamination occurs.

  • When picking, pack the BIO bananas in a separate bag before placing it with other products.

Shelf change tickets with picture

When submitting tickets for shelf changes, please ensure you also attach a picture of the shelf in question. This will help us process your requests more efficiently. Thank you for your collaboration 🤝

Product facings update

As of last week, we updated the number of facings for Dry and Fridge products (with the exception of the Meat fridge). The number of facings is calculated based on the sales performance of the previous month and is adjusted on a monthly basis.

Therefore, we ask you to follow the storage type (Single or Handling Units) and the number of facings displayed on your Zebra device. This ensures all products will fit on the shelf and that restocking will be more efficient.

Cancellation workflow simplification

We are removing the cancellation workflows for JET, Uber Eats and the “Cancellation after 23:00” workflow and combining them under the “Flink - order cancellation request” workflow. Additionally, cancellations after 23:00 will still be registered in the Emergency Hub Closures channel automatically.

This change will make it easier for Customer Service agents to process cancellations.

Access the “Flink - order cancellation request” workflow in the bookmarks of the folder "Workflows for Hubs" in your Customer Care Slack channel:

Weekly insights

Weekly Inbound Checker performance update: Week 38

On a weekly basis, we will update you on any improvements, changes, or issues related to the Inbound Checker. Our goals are to keep everyone informed and to ensure clear communication across teams.

This week, I would like to emphasize once again that we have updated the process in Zendesk.

Here’s a short reminder to follow the process below:

  • When you receive a delivery, you must inbound all the good products and outbound all the damaged/expired ones, so 100% of all products on the rollies are registered in the system.

  • One hour later, control the deviations in the Inbound Checker - meaning products/SKUs that were partially inbound or not at all. If you check beforehand, you'll see a long list of products that includes inbounds with zero quantities and non-inbounded SKUs in the rollcontainer, so make sure you wait an hour.

  • The Inbound Checker will show you the amount of expected products, expected inbounds, and actual inbounds performed.

  • If the stock balance on the Hub Portal is the same as your actual stock level but you still have a gap in the Inbound Checker, mark the SKU with one of the following reasons:

    • Inbounding error: inbounded quantity was too high or too low due to internal mistake.

    • Overdelivery: supplier delivered higher quantity than ordered.

    • Underdelivery: supplier delivered lower quantity than ordered.

    • Packing size difference: in the handling unit (box), there are more/less products than in the purchase order (e.g. 24 cans of Coca Cola instead of 20).

    • Split delivery: SKU is delivered in multiple roll containers.

:boost-rocket:

Highlight of the week: across the entire country, we see growth in performance. Last week, the performance was 97.6%. It's moving in the right direction, so keep it up!
