You'll use the Zebra device on a daily basis to conduct all your tasks, such as inbounding, picking, inventory checks and much more. Each Ops Associate/Shift Lead working at the hub uses their own Zebra.
Instructions
General
After you have taken your Zebra device and strap at the beginning of your shift, make sure to keep both with you during your entire shift.
During your break or using the washrooms, make sure to store your Zebra in a place it is not in the way and you can find it easily afterwards.
At the end of your shift make sure the Zebra device is being charged at the shift lead desk.
Inbounding
Take the Zebra and start scanning and adding the products to the dropping list, and place them on the inbound cart.
Attach the Zebra to the inbound cart and start dropping items.
When inbounding without the inbound cart, use the strap of the Zebra to keep it safe after inbounding the products and while placing them on the shelves.
Check more about Inbounding here.
Picking
When switching over from another task, attach your Zebra to a picker cart and start picking.
Always pick using the "trigger mode" of the Zebra scanner. This way you don't need to keep switching the Zebra settings after you finish picking.
If needed, detach the Zebra from the picker cart to ensure the handover process is completed correctly.
Always detach your Zebra if you don't continue picking so the picker cart is available for next ops associate/shift lead picking.
Check more about picking here.
Checks
Start the shelf checks by scanning the shelf.
Once you have started the check, use your holster to store your Zebra while counting stock or quality checking products (BBD & fresh checks).
