This article describes the process of handling organic products during the receiving process, how to store them and how to pick them.
The thorough control of organic products is particularly important for us. This is because for many customers, the organic quality of these products is very important and they pay a higher price for it. Due to strict controls of bio products, we must meet the standards of our organic certification in order to be allowed to sell organic products. Thus, OA+, Shift Leads and Hub Managers must be aware of the specifications described here in order to handle bio products.
Receiving bio products
When you receive bio products, you must perform the Flowtify check for organic products. You can find this check on Flowtify under Delivery check (spontaneous event).
Important:
Bio products must be marked on the delivery invoice with the name and address of the recipient (your hub), and the organic reference (e.g. BIO Komkommer):
The labeling on the products must be complete and match the information on the delivery bill and the invoice.
Picking bio products
If the customer orders bio products, pay special attention during the picking process, so that you don’t pick any non-bio products instead.
