Ops Associate Plus (OA+) Nomination & Onboarding
This guide provides the complete process for nominating and onboarding new OA+ team members. A structured onboarding is essential for integrating OA+ into the team and preparing them for their future tasks efficiently.
The Hub Manager's Role:
Hub Managers are responsible for ensuring every OA+ completes this process, preparing them for their role as quickly and effectively as possible.

The 2-Step Nomination Process
The Hub Manager aligns their candidate selection with their City Manager.
After alignment, the Hub Manager nominates the candidate using the official nomination process via the training lead portal.

After submission, both the HM and the candidate will receive emails with instructions for the onboarding process.
The 3-Phase Onboarding Process
Phase 1: Critical Foundation Training
Before starting practical training, the candidate must complete all foundational safety and operational courses.
Complete all mandatory EduMe trainings for both Riders and Ops Associates.
Complete all assigned hub safety trainings.
Fulfill their safety assessment.
Sign up for the BHV training (via the Hub Manager).
Monitor Progress: You can track the status of your nominee's safety assessment and BHV training on the official dashboard.

Phase 2: On-the-Job Practice & Processes
The Hub Manager or an experienced Shift Lead must guide the new OA+ through the following topics on the job.

Phase 3: Opening & Closing the Hub
Opening the Hub
The OA+ must shadow an experienced Shift Lead for 2 full opening shifts. From the 3rd day, they should be able to open the hub themselves.

Closing the Hub
The OA+ must shadow the same experienced Shift Lead for 2 full closing shifts. From the 3rd day, they should be able to close the hub themselves.

Important Notes
OA+ Pay Supplements
For OA+ shifts, employees receive an hourly pay supplement: €0,50 for those over 21, and €1,00 for those under 21.

Travel Expense Reimbursement
Travel expenses for attending safety training sessions will be automatically reimbursed through payroll in the following month’s salary.
