Instructions
General requirements for Riders before they start their shifts
It’s important that you are completely set up before you start accepting orders to deliver. As such:
Always punch-in when you arrive to the hub
Have with you a charged smartphone with the Flink Workforce App installed and a working internet connection.
Go in the Workforce app, assign yourself a bike and get ready for your shift.
Inspect the bike to make sure it is ready and operational and that the bike battery is charged.
Delivering the order
Accept the delivery on the Workforce app.
Locate the correct order number on the handover shelf.
Don’t forget that with the stacking process of orders (meaning that several orders may be put together so they can be delivered together), your ride can include multiple orders with different stops.
If it is a stacked order (you will see that during the handover process), find all orders to be delivered which are a part of this tour.
Bring the orders to the bike and pack them securely.
Go to your bike and open the navigation on your phone.
Place your phone in the phone holder safely so you can see the GPS while riding.
Ride safely and as fast as you feel comfortable and follow the route shown in the app.
Once you arrive at the customer's house, lock your bike and get the bags.
Go to the Workforce app and swipe on the button “Slide when arrived”.
Note: learn how to read the customers' addresses and notes here.
Look for their door, ring the bell, and deliver the bags.
Once you deliver them, go back to the Rider app and swipe “Slide when delivered”.
If you still have another stacked order to deliver, follow the same process to get to the next customer.
If you have no more orders to deliver, ride back to your Hub. Once in a ratio of 100m or less from the hub, go to the Workforce app and swipe the button “Slide when returned”.
Park the bike in an orderly manner.
Place all containers correctly back on the storage shelf.
Select the next assigned order, and repeat the process.
FAQ
Customer cannot be found/ is unreachable
No answer? Ring the doorbell again and wait for another 1 min.
Still no response? Call the customer directly. If you’re unable to call the customer, contact your hub to do so.
If no one answers, ring one last time and wait for another 1 min.
Still no success? Report the order as can’t be delivered in the app.
Please note, that, for park deliveries, you may only search for the customer for less than 5 minutes.
Delivery area is not deliverable (lakes, woods, highways or any non-deliverable area)
The Rider confirms the order has the outdoor delivery tag (in green).
The delivery falls under the following possibilities:
In the middle of lakes, woods, highways or any other non-deliverable area.
Within the delivery area marked in the park but after 11 pm in a dangerous park. In this case, proceed to Step 3 below.
Proceed as usual in the app and request a cancellation to the Shift Lead informing them that the delivery location was flawed and they will proceed with the cancellation. The OA will reinbound with corrections.
If the Hub Manager does not accept the cancellation in any of the above cancellation situations, proceed to deliver as usual.
Why is it important?
The goal is to deliver the order to the customer as efficiently as possible and make sure our customers are satisfied with our service.
The rider is our first and most important point of contact with our customers - as a rider, you are the face of the company!
